LET'S CELEBRATE!

It is my hope that I can show Finley how much fun it is to celebrate holidays and birthdays. We recently celebrated Grandma's birthday with Aunt Steph on March 4 and Aunt Cake's birthday on March 8. Finley helped pick the decorations and the t-shirt. Success! We are so lucky to have 2 Pisces in our every day lives...

A HAT WITH EAR FLAPS THAT FINALLY FITS

So, life has been quite the whirlwind. Note to self: In the future, don't start a new job with a seventh month old. Further note to self, in the future, don't start that new job when the new firm is hosting a conference at Penn State (of all places) where I have to do 2 presentations immediately upon starting.

While driving home from the marathon conference, I kept thinking about taking my sweet angel to the park to swing. I think I was more excited about swinging than Finley was...

Thanks for being such a good sport, honey. Final note to self, try everything under the sun to get pregnant because look what happened, the sweetest baby girl on the planet, my Finley, was born. No matter where I am or what job I am doing, it is all ok because I get to come home to you, sweet Finn. #warriors

p.s. As always, thank you over and over again grandma, pap-pap, and cake for taking such good care of Finley when I was away for those couple of days...we love you.

SHOP 'N SAVE

Shockingly, mommy and Finley have avoided trips to the grocery store, but a few weeks back we needed to buy some birthday supplies for Finley's amazing grandma and namesake, Patience. So off we went to the local Shop 'n Save. Finley took in the colors, all of the different options at the bakery, and Uncle Lenny (an older gentleman who befriended us).

I know, shopping isn't my favorite task either, Finley. #warriors

FDUBBS

Since about week five, Finley Patience and Hannah Skye have been as thick as thieves. Kudos to Beth for catching this epic moment on camera. #mommyonthespot

THROW BACK THURSDAY, TU-TU

Oh my...

OUR FIRST BIRTHDAY PARTY

On Sunday, Finley and I ventured out to celebrate Bodhi's first birthday. This was a special day because Bodhi's mom, Steph, is part of our Single Moms By Choice Group. Mommy and Finley got all dolled up and even combed our hair together. Here's Finley all dressed up with someplace to go.

The venue for the momentous occasions was "Big Jim's" as featured on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives. We had a blast with steph's family and friends. Finley only committed two party fouls: Dumping water on a little boy we had never met and sucking on the crust of some random mom's pizza. Interestingly, Finley was awestruck by the "art" on the walls, which was amusing as, (and this may come as no surprise), Big Jim's is not really known for its art.
