FINLEY, THE SCIENCE TODDLER

When grandma and pap-pap come to visit, they can't wait to show Finley all that Pittsburgh has to offer including the science center. Needless to say, the star attraction was the Finley-sized chair.

Nothing like a pleasant evening at Schenley Plaza park while snacking on a nectarine. And yes Finny the fish, you are o-fish-ally cute.

SHOES THAT SQUEAK

I finally relented and bought Finley her first pair of real shoes. They arrived yesterday and were an immediate Finley favorite. I am not sure if she enjoys bending down and kissing them or making stomping hard so that they squeak. Now, if I can only get her to take them off for nap and bedtime. EEK, SQUEAK!

DINOS

Readers, as of late, it has been hard to snap a picture of Finley as she is no fan of the camera. However, I was able to sneak in a couple of shots during our mommy-daughter visit to the Carnegie Museum of Natural History. It was one of our best outings to date. Finley was positively captivated by the dinosaurs and loved the kid's area where she got to pet big plastic bugs, crawl through "log" tunnels, and contemplate fossils.

Finley and I also discovered a secret passageway between the museum and the library...what a find!
