OUR LOVES, OUR FAMILY

Finley and I our so blessed to have Aunt Steph, Aunt Jill, Aunt Kim, and Bodhi, Ellie, and Lev in our lives. What are the chances of four single moms all with babies months a part meeting in Pittsburgh PA.  Miracles do happen. Finny and I love you all so much.

HIDE AND HIDE AND HIDE AND HIDE

Thanksgiving came and went with the annual nephew visit. For three glorious nights and four days, Finley's cousins/blood brothers visited. Unfortunately, I was not the best picture taker. However, I did snap some action shots of Miles (who was such a champ) repeatedly playing "hide-and-go-seek" with Finley. Finley has mastered the art of finding a hiding spot. Next steps: (1) stay in the hiding spot until she is found; (2) not hide in the same spot every time.  See the action shots below to get a glimpse into Finny's Hide and not Seek.

The very attentive reader will notice that Finley is both in her onesie and in her "house slippers." This look was created by her pap-pap for those middle of the blood brother wake ups so that Finny would not slip in her pjs.

NEW TRADITIONS

Finley and I eagerly accepted an invitation to the Wedner's for the first night of Hanukkah. Finley took this occasion to don her dreidal outfit courtesy of grandma. I love these pictures because I inadvertently caught both Finley and Kim...so so beautiful (and similar facial expression in each picture). Thank you Wedners for establishing the first of hopefully many Hanukkah celebrations.

Finny loved Hanukkah...especially the present part. Cutest part of the night when Finley began to quietly sing "Happy Birthday" in my arms when the first candle was being lit. I love you so much.

DELIRIOUS, EXHAUSTED, PURE LOVE

Thanksgiving has come and gone leaving many memories. Unfortunately, because so much was going on, I did not take as many pictures as I should have. We hosted the annual bowling party with the extended family. Although it was an exhausting day and Finley (as you can tell from the pictures below), stayed up way past her bedtime, Finley partied on in the beloved arms of her pap-pap.

Finley, your pap-pap is one of the kindest people you will ever know. He loves you so much. I have never seen him smile so much as when he is with you. Also, pap-pap will always protect you. As he says, "you are safe...you are safe." And yes, pap-pap, it is a boarding house. So grateful.
