LOOK UP
Readers, one day Finley, grandma, and pap-pap excitedly told me that, for the first time, they saw a tiger in a tree at the Dino museum. So, the next day I had off, Finley and I dashed to the museum so that she could show me the tiger in the tree. Well, there was only one problem, despite looking everywhere (and I mean everywhere) we could not find the it. I considered the possibility that grandma, pap-pap, and Finley were teasing me...but after a humorous phone consult with grandma and pap-pap and an instructive consult with someone who had worked at the museum for about 50 years, we found it! The victorious moment was caught on camera.

So what do you do for a toddler who loves Tigers? You introduce her to Daniel Tiger, of course.
It was love at first sight, and I am not surprised. Mommy's favorite television show growing up was Mr. Rogers...won't you be my neighbor.

In a fortuitous (life altering) turn of events, I was not working on my 41st birthday. The best present ever was being able to spend the day with Finley and then convening with the Wedners in the evening for lots of laughs with Lev, Kim, Ev, and our favorite Chief...

Lev and Finley were the true MVPs of the trip to Tampa. They loved wearing their matching pjs, running around the hotel lobby, and, of course, holding hands. THE WIDE WORLD COMFORTED HER
This is such a Finny pose...
Finley was right at home during her first visit to the ocean. Here's to many more to come sweet Finny. It was chilly but we held one another while we watched the sunset. Life is a miracle and every day Finley makes me more and more aware of that. Mommy loves Finley. We will never forget the seagulls, looking for seashells for grandma and pap-pap, soft sand, waves, water, kite, umbrella, bright sun, boats, push elevator button, room, Lev and Kim...
And yes, there was a dinosaur on the loose at Clearwater Beach. Roar!

BREAKFAST BUFFET - KIDS UNDER TWO EAT FOR FREE, WOOHOO!
Thank goodness the hotel in Florida was toddler friendly. Grandma would be so proud of how we took advantage of the kids under two (2) eat for free at the breakfast buffet.

LOVEY MEETS...EVERYONE
On December 21, 2018, Finley visited the airport for the first time to take a ride on an airplane to Tampa Florida. She and Lev kept all of Pittsburgh on alert as they ran through the airport with their squeaky shoes. Finley enjoyed introducing everyone to Lovey and calling any man over the age of 50, "pap-pap."
