KIND SOULS

During the cousin's visit to Pittsburgh over President's Day weekend, I was not able to capture as many moments between Finley and Cousin Gideon that I would have liked. Though I am not sure the camera could ever do justice to how kind they are to one another and how comfortable they are in one another's presence.

Of course, they are reading Daniel Tiger...

QUIET UNDERSTANDING

There is a beautiful, quiet understanding between Finley and Cousin Isaac that I managed to capture one early morning.

They both remind me so much of pap-pap in these pictures.

THE PROTECTOR RETURNS

Finley, you are so lucky to have your cousin, Miles. From the moment he walks in the door to visit us until the minute Miles leaves, he's by your side or looking for you.

BONES!

Not unlike one of her favorite characters, Professor Actual Factual, from the new and improved Berenstein Bears, Finny went digging for bones. SIDE NOTE: Finley was appropriately clad in her Dino Sweatshirt with "spikes on back."

Safety first!

All of Finny's hard work...

...was rewarded! She found a "dinohead skelaton." Is there a future Paleontologist among us?

The only thing more exciting than digging for dinosaur bones is digging for dinosaur bones with Lev! 

When it was all said and done, Finny gave the dig a thumbs up aka a bottom lip out:)
