STORY HOUR VETERAN

One of the most precious times Finley and I share together, is our Saturday morning story (and sing) time at the Carnegie Library.  We love this weekly ritual, which invariably includes Finley running down the hallway to the kids section to claim her coveted purple cushion with green edges and ends with us visiting our good friend Dippy the Dinosaur (weather permitting...or even when it's not).

Lately, Finley cannot help but get up and dance, especially when the Appalachian Dulcimer makes an appearance.

We're on the way, we're on the way, on the way to grandpa's farm!

Then, of course, hugs and kisses for Dippy.

FREE TO BE FINLEY

Last weekend, we attended one of Finley's first friend's birthday party. Per Rani's love for dancing, the bash took place at a dance studio.

ADVENTURES WITH CAKE

Exciting things are happening in Finley's life. She and Cake  had their first adventure together outside of Ward 9. Like everything these two do together, it was a success. Have I mentioned how lucky we are to have Michelle Thompson (aka "Cake") in our lives. In fact, a day does not go by that I do not feel grateful. Cake, also has this uncanny ability to capture Finley perfectly. Here's a  moment Cake captured of Finley doing what she does best...taking it all in.
