Finley's first "toddler" visit to Greensburg was a success. Of course it was, she got to spend time with her Pappy (not grandpa, not pap-pap, but her pappy)
Finny enjoyed her first popsicle, purple, of course!
When Finny's hair gets wet, she says its "spikey" On this particular evening, Finny learned the hard way what happens when you push the button on the sprinkler at the playground...you get wet (and everyone in the neighborhood will hear about it...ROAR!)
After our trip to D.C. to see the cousins, Finny fought sleep the entire way home...but as soon as we got off the turnpike, she threw in the lovey dovey, I mean towel.
Finny and her cousins, Giddy and Isaac, spent a lot of time together in Giddy's room (or, as Finny would say, the "white door room.") The sound of their giggles filled the house!
When Gideon was about Finley's age, we'd spend early (I mean early) mornings turning off the lights and push the button on the lady bug and magic occurred...we'd see a ceiling full of red, blue, or green stars and one crescent mom. Well, Giddy found the lady bug and mesmerized Finley when he pushed the button. As we were leaving D.C., someone snuck the ladybug into our suitcase...Sweet, sweet Giddy.
Readers, something momentous has occurred. Finley is two whole fingers. 1 and 2!
We had a wonderful day including dancing with our balloons, going to the duck pond (quack, quack) with Lev and Kim, tumbling and laughing with Cake, and, of course, chilling on the porch with the girls.
