SPOOKY STRAWBERRY SNATCHERS AND HEADLESS MONSTERS

Finley and I have many similarities including, but not limited to: We both love the water, we both love black cherry propel (prob not the best drink for a toddler), we both come alive at night...who who...we are night owls, we both LOVE to sleep in late, we both laugh at our own jokes, we both like getting cozy and cuddly, we both enjoy long car rides, we both l-o-v-e to read, we both like to ask lots and lots of questions, AND we both love SPOOKY STORIES.

This should come as no surprise as Finley has been a ghost every Halloween thus far and her #2 is none other than her stuffed ghost with candy corn teeth (don't worry we are going to make a dentist appointment for her soon) 

The two spooky stories that Finley requests the most are none other than "The Grey Lady and The Strawberry Snatcher" and more recently and the somewhat bizarre version of Frankenstein - where all of the main characters unfortunately "lose" their noggins. EEK! 

As Finley would say, "meanwhile...look who is creeping behind the grey lady...the STRAWBERRY SNATCHER!"

WE ARE FAMILY

As many readers know, Finley is the miracle of my life. When she came into my life, everything changed...she is my sunshine that keeps bringing me light. Perhaps no greater light is the light of Steph, Jill, Kim, Bodhi, Lev, Ellie, and most recently baby Gabe and Baby Lex. We are family. Since that day in December 2017, our group of single moms has not looked back. So it is no surprise that we spent our birthday with them (and it is also no surprise what the birthday theme was...dinosaurs)

Thanks go grandma's amazing party bags, each toddler got a dinosaur egg. Here Finley and Bodhi are on the edge of the "pot" waiting for the first sign of "crackage."

COVID-19 COUSINS VISIT PART 2

Turns out that Finley and Uncle Pete (oh and Lovey too) have very similar, quirky senses of humor. Finley and Lovey just cannot get enough of Uncle Pete's goofy chicken!

CAKE FACE

A major milestone has come and gone, Finley turned three (1, 2, 3 fingers!). The celebration spanned a few days and Finley loved it (except she is not a huge fan of opening presents). As Finley would say, but mommy, I like the toys I have. My sweetheart. 

On Finley's birthday eve, we had an unexpected visit from cousin Isaac and the grandparents during which time she perfected her birthday cake face move.
