 One of the greatest things about Cake being part of our family is that she encourages us to always think about those in need...including hungry pigs. Here, Finley is doing her part and contributing to the Pumpkins for Pigs (feeding undernourished pigs).

YES, WE DID CELEBRATE CHRISTMAS

Some readers may be wondering where the 2020 Christmas pictures are? Not to worry, we did, indeed celebrate the big day! On the actual day itself, Finley had most fun with her grandparents. Here she is playing let's touch chins, knees, hands, cheeks, foreheads, and elbows with her Pap-Pap. 

Finny also loved when the lights went out and we got to light a candle.

On the other hand, Finley did not love that we attempted to try out her new "skies" in 19 degree weather...that got the thumbs down. 

What I realize about Christmas as a parent is that by about 10:00 am, one is exhausted...

Here we are trying to convince Finley that a cozy rest is a super fun activity.

Finny wasn't having it. And yes, Santa did bring Finley the one and only gift she asked for, "spooky sheets and pillow cases." I spy a friendly ghost! That's my girl.
