BRAVE FINLEY

 Mommy took off to spend the day with Finley. We had a blast together (even while waiting for the doctor for Finley's FOUR year check-up, which speaks volumes for how much fun we have together), and Finley was all smiles before AND after her 4 year shots. Finley was incredibly brave and even got a 3 stickers (including an awesome Nemo one) to reflect her bravery - It was yet another banner day.

Finley is big enough to wear a hospital gown and she wears it well!

BALANCE BIKE, SORT OF

Finley was so excited to jump on her balance bike (thanks grandma and pap-pap). Indeed, almost immediately upon receiving this gift, she wanted to "ride it to the coffee shop." About 3 hours later in 90 degree weather, we arrived (smile) It appears as though Finley is less interested in balancing and more interested in simply walking with the bike. Whatever floats her boat works for me.

GLAD TO HAVE A FRIEND LIKE AMIR

 Among other amazing things this past year has brought us, is a wonderful friendship with sweet, kind Amir. Finley and Amir have the sweetest of friendships--they are both old souls with a thirst for life! We also love Amir's mom - our circle of love/family keeps expanding.

SHE SHOOTS...SHE SHOOTS...SHE SHOOTS...SHE SCORES

Saturday morning soccer practice, the highlight of this mom's week. Finley has really taken to her weekly soccer shot practice with Coach Adam. She likes doing tick tocks (passing the ball between her left and right foot), making volcanos erupt (aka dribbling the ball into cones), scoring goals (not always on the first attempt but we never give up), controlling the ball, and, of course, getting a sticker at the end of practice.

FINLEY IS FOUR (REGULAR FOUR)

 Time flies when you are having the time of your life. So fast, that I forgot to highlight Finley's fourth birthday. Finley said she wanted a spooky birthday...her grandma did not disappoint with the decorations.

LET SUMMER BEGIN

 Finley rang in the "start" of summer this year with all of her Beth Shalom buddies at Bodhi's house. Not surprisingly, Finley is front and center/right in the action being goofy and silly, of course!

BOCCI BOCCI BO BOCCI

We came to watch Anne play Bocci! Not surprisingly, old soul Finley loved it. Also, it was educational as well - we learned that the white ball is called the "Paulina." Check out Finley's good form. Mommy bend your knees not your back!
