A WHALE OF A TIME

 Finley had the opportunity to venture to Kennywood with Lev, Amir, and Bodhi this summer. We got there when the gates opened...

Please note: Finley and I arrived at the park when it opened and basically had to be kicked out when the good night song, "Now is the Hour" played.  All of our friends left around 2:00 pm when the rain descended upon us, but we weathered the storm and stayed to walk through the Ark 20 times (see above) and the Old Mill (which is now a haunted house). We do not mess around:)

ITSY-BITSY FINLEY

 Sometimes Finley and I like to go to parks for 6-7 hours straight. Last weekend was no exception. We stopped at the Blue Slide Park and did not leave until Finley the Spider climbed to the top of the "web" for the first in her entire life. So proud (just please hold on tight Finley)! Undaunted Finley!  

Of course, we had to spend hours at the good old blue slide itself. Finley is very particular about positioning her cardboard directly under her body and scooting up to the handle bars all set to go. On this particular day, prior to descending to the bottom, Finley would say, give me five, mate to me. Not sure where she picked up mate, but I like it!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO AMIR, YOU ARE OUT OF THIS WORLD!

Readers, we had our last member of the gang turn four (4) recently...the one and only Amir. The theme of his party was "space," which is no surprise as he is out of this world. Finley was proud to sit next to him during the celebration and the cutting of the planet cake.

CAN WE HAVE SOME ASSISTANCE IN LANE 2?

 If anyone is wondering how Finley kept up with Gideon, not surprisingly, she kept up really well. Not unlike her mother, she keeps going until she dropped!

Side note: Check out those scores, M is for mom...and this mom may have gotten her best score ever:) Good work, Giddy (someday you will catch your old Aunt) and gallant effort by Finley (who, as stated above, gracefully bowed out before the tenth frame in her own custom-designed "gutter bumper lane").

GIDEON AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN (PLEASE COME BACK AGAIN)

 I am starting to think that Gideon's favorite place in the world is wherever Finley is. 

GIDDY IS BACK!

WHEN IT RAINS WE DON'T GO HOME, WE PUDDLE JUMP!

When it rains at the JCC pool, everyone leaves except for me and Finley. We stay and watch and listen to the storm while under shelter (heard the loudest thunder of my life), puddle jump and then, when the sun returns (it always does), we swim in a huge huge pool that we have virtually to ourselves. Woohoo!
