FIRST SNOW OF THE SEASON

 About a month or so ago, we finally had our first snow of the winter. Finley and I read the weather forecast and made sure to be outside and to be ready for the snow to come. We enjoyed the first snow fall together in the Secret Garden at Mellon Park (p.s. the forecast was about 3 hours behind scheduled but we persevered).

WHERE ARE THE CHILDREN?

What do you do when the temp is in the single digits? Why go to the library, of course. Lev, Finley, and Amir love the library where they can read together. At one point, they were suspiciously quiet and the moms did not know where they were and then we turned the corner and stumbled upon this cube of cuteness.

SUGAR COOKIES WITH THE BIG FOUR

 Yes, Christmas came and went. Finley hosted a Christmas party with the original crew--Finley, Lev, Bodhi, and Ellie. It was incredible to celebrate with loved ones who have been with us since the beginning. Family and friends forever.

WE ARE STILL HERE

 With the holidays, the COVID-19 spike (Omicron variant), and mommy spending every free moment to apply to kindergartens, there has been a hiatus from Finally Finley. Not to worry, we are still here and enjoying every winter especially how rosy our cheeks get after a snowy day!

And yes, we have a new addition, to the family, Nutty the Nutcracker, who was quickly relegated to "special" status and travel with us pretty much everywhere. Nutty the Nutcracker often loses his limbs and even his head on occasion - but that's ok, that's what Amazon Prime is for and we now have an awesome new glue gun. One other fun fact about Nutty is that he has a very hairy chest.
