We are off to see the wizard...

Like mother, like daughter - we both have a soft spot for the tinman.

But Finley's favorite character is the all-mighty wizard of oz - who often likes to accompany us on our adventures.

In our house, the wicked witch has redeemed herself...she is now known as "Goodie!"

 Readers may have noticed that I have not been as active lately. There has been some serious sadness in our lives but we don't give up.

CALLING ON THESPIANS, COME ON DOWN!

 Mommy and Finley both share a love for the theater. Granted, some productions are more, shall we say, polished than others. But we truly do not discriminate. Last week we had the opportunity to see the Jungle Book at the Gemini theater with other budding thespians, Amir and Layla. The most shocking moment was when they asked if anyone wanted to join the stage and participate in the production and Finley eagerly got on stage. I love it when our kids surprise us.

EXTENDED, EXTENDED DAY

 Sometimes even after extended day is over, Finley parties with her other extended day buds. Here she is leading the way on the snake, rope swing. HOLD ON TIGHT, Finley, Eve, Bodhi, and Max.

WASKOWICZ WATER PARK

I don't know about you all but I am not sure I have ever seen a bubble bath quite like this. If you look closely you may spy two cousins having the time of their lives at the "Waskowicz Water Park." 

The cousins particularly enjoyed the "glub glub glub" of the drain and the water running out so that the jets would spray all over the wall:)
