CAMP DEER CREEK: BEFORE AND AFTER WEEK ONE

 Readers, Finley never ceases to amaze me. Last week was her first week at Camp Deer Creek. Here are some before pictures of Mommy and Finley waiting for the bus on Monday morning. 

BEFORE

Mommy, are you sure we didn't miss the bus? Is this the right stop? Is this the right time? What color do you think the bus will be?

It's coming, it's coming, it's coming...the "orange" (as Finley would say) school bus.

Finley bravely putting one foot in front of the other. UPDATE: Turns out riding the bus is one of Finley's favorite camp activities. Her mom is very proud of her - she got on the bus without knowing anyone and excitedly took the journey to camp. (Looks like she is better at transitions than her mom, woohoo!)

MOMMY AND FINLEY DAY

After a weekend of partying, Finley made one request on Memorial Day - to have a Mommy and Finley day. Here we are at the JCC pool in Monroeville enjoying a snack. The best are days together:)

MAX AND FINLEY - WAIT ARE THEY TWINS?

 As our time at CDS likely comes to an end (why does mommy struggle with decisions so much), there have been so many bright spots including, Mr. Walker, Finley developing a love for drawing, the CDS playgrounds, stamps at music, gym with someone whose name is not Jim, chocolate milk, pizza and holla bread on Fridays, learning Hebrew words, Spikey, Big Shaun and Little Shaun the Sheep, and Finley's good new friend, MAX!

Last two at CDS...always. Mommy and Max' dad spent hours chasing Max and Finley after school...and even lost you two once. Eek!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DOROTHY GALE AKA FINLEY WASKOWICZ

Another successful birthday party at the Waskowicz house. This year the theme was the Wizard of Oz - Finley's favorite thing in the entire world besides lovey, of course. Here, Dorothy Gale/Finley Waskowicz is waiting for the magician to work his magic.
