Finley, pap-pap, grandma, and I made the trip to D.C. to celebrate Hanukkah and cousin Gideon's birthday. Unfortunately, upon arrival, everyone was violently ill so the following morning we promptly left in an attempt to shield baby Finny from illness. Finny was a true champ and enjoyed our unexpected stops at the National Zoo and the New Stanton rest area where we ran into a fellow new coffee mom and baby Astrid. The tribe is everywhere. #warriors
Readers, a momentous thing happened during our short stay in D.C. Unfortunately, because cousin Gideon was too sick to see Lebron James play basketball (an awesome Hanukkah gift from his amazing mom, Aunt Cassidy), I went instead. Seeing Lebron James was on my bucket list and he didn't disappoint. #kingjames #tripledouble
