PLAY DATES, COLD CREEKS, AND WHERE IS XAVIER?

 Finley and I have been going outside of our comfort zone by setting up one-on-one play dates with our new Ellis friends. They have been...well...memorably (and very successful:)

Our play date with Areli was...well...very memorable. When I got in touch with Areli's mom (who just happened to be mom's former colleague), I gave her the heads up that maybe a 1/2 hour - an hour would be best...so we decided to go on a "hike."

Well this "turned" into a 3-4 hour adventure in the woods, wading (ok basically swimming) in a cold, fall creek (no change of clothes), losing (no joke) Areli's brother's friend Xavier for about five (5) heart-stopping minutes and Finley and Areli ultimately perfecting the "Finley Flop" in two feet itchy grass. 

So yes, it was a success!!!  We love Ellis
